The company was formed in 1984 and occupied 15 Sidmouth Street, in Devizes. As the companies customer base grew, and a few years after starting up, the company expanded its shop floor by renting 14 Sidmouth Street as well as holding onto its previous premises next door.

When given the opportunity to purchase 14 Sidmouth Street, with the advantage of a Flat above, the company decided to invest in the property and at the same time cease to rent 15 Sidmouth Street.

When the family company began trading they were agents for the British Gas Board, but after a substantial amount of time the Gas Board withdrew all its agencies. The shop then took on a front end for the 5 engineers employed at the company, as well as stocking numerous appliances from cookers and fires to Mira showers and fire surrounds. The shop today has not changed too much, with it still providing a excellent service for the surrounding area and stocking the latest products and fittings.

The Company at present, employs 7 members of staff and has been operating for over 15 years with great success. The two partners of the company, Patrick Stevens and Robin Smart who established the company with the help of their wives, Rosalie and Maureen still run the company and maintain the standard you would expect of a business that has been operating for over 15 years.
